News

In the first 6 months of 2022 the number of calls to our helpline have continued to increase. The appetite for mental health training is not slowing either.

People are recognising that talking to someone and asking for help is a good thing.

We say it takes a strong person to ask for help. This year, 61% more people have done just that by calling our helpline, 0300 323 0400.

With this in mind, YANA is expanding its team.

It is an exciting time to join YANA as we establish ourselves as an East Anglian charity. As you have just read, the need for good mental health support and training keeps increasing, and it is for this reason that we are looking to fill two part time roles. A Helpline Coordinator and an Administrator.

These are new roles that have the potential to develop in the future and we welcome applications from all four counties we work in. These being Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk.

Please download the job packs if you are interested in making an application. Closing date for applications is 5pm, 26th August 2022, however if we receive applications ahead of this time we may interview early.

If you would like to speak to the Charity Manager after reading the job packs please email admin@yanahelp.org.
