As YANA continues to support increasing numbers of people with training, counselling, and a listening ear on the helpline, we have identified the need for an Operations Manager to join the small team that keeps YANA running.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the operational functions of YANA to support the efficient and effective delivery of its vision and mission, helping to underpin the work of YANA. Ensuring the services maintain YANA’s high standards and provides effective support to the Charity Director.

Key functions and responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate all aspects of YANA’s mental health training programmes
  • Manage the day-to-day office functions
  • Support the Charity Director with finance handling
  • Ensure donors, fundraisers, and grant making bodies are looked after, and communicated with in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Support the Charity Director and Board of Trustees
  • Co-ordinate event logistics and bookings
  • Maintain and develop YANA’s CRM system
  • Contribute to YANAs communications both internally and externally
  • Provide support to the helpline team when needed

The role:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Hours: 37.5hrs pr week (0.8 FTE considered)

Salary: £28,000

Working days: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with occasional weekend and evening work when required.

Location: flexible working arrangements but with the requirement to be in the head office at least one day a week at the Norfolk Showground, Norwich, NR5 0TT. Travel across East Anglia will be required from time to time.
