Mental Health: The Essentials
YANA believes that everyone can benefit from learning about what affects our mental health, positively and negatively.
Developing an understanding of what we can control, and practical steps we can take to help us improve our mental health is important.
This 3.5 hour session can be delivered onsite at the business for up to 16 people. YANA works with Suffolk Mind’s experienced Emotional Needs Facilitators, to deliver this training, accredited by the University of Suffolk.
Mental Health: The Essentials provides an introduction to understand emotional needs and resources we all have, how these can be used to help us be well, and how we can take care of ourselves and those around us.
Unmet emotional needs can trigger symptoms of mental ill health. Understanding how to meet them helps delegates understand what is needed to be well and take care of themselves and those around them.
The course can help to:
- Undo misconceptions about mental health
- Raise awareness of emotional needs
- Support yourself and those around you
- Better understand sleep and mental health
