Driving together for YANA
A bittersweet view filled the fields and lanes of East Norfolk on a September weekend as a farming community pulled together by driving their tractors – and other vehicles – to celebrate the life of one of its own.
The convoy of over a hundred tractors, classic cars and vintage vehicles assembled in Hemsby in memory of Norfolk farmer Greg Anderson. It set off on a 11-mile drive through countryside and neighbouring villages cheered on by over 250 people.
Greg was an enthusiastic advocate for the work of YANA and the help we offer. In warm appreciation of everything he achieved and believed in, over £6000, so far, has been donated to the the tractor run fund. The Anderson family are donating it all to YANA, which will enable us to provide much rural mental health support in Norfolk and beyond.
YANA sincerely thanks the Anderson family for deciding to support YANA at their event. Read more details in the EDP’s report of the day.
